So the zippered pouches are finished!
And some have finished the shoulder bag,
and some even the baby dress.
Below are the students with their pouches.
You can pray for them, as some have not been coming to finish up the shoulder bag.
We really don't like to lose any students half way (or anytime) through the course, but it does happen.
I'm helping out right now at another sewing school.
Teaching some tips to their tailor on better ways to sew certain items.
It is a challenge to teach concepts to others,
but God is teaching me.
I've been able to sew on a 'Brother'.
Andria wanted a pair of pants made from a scarf!
I love them, so does she!
Sewed a uniform 'skort' for them to show how finished edges could be done
and to help with cutting the crotch area so it is not too tight for the wearer.
I am in the process of making graduation gowns.
I'm tired of renting them, they come very wrinkled and not all the same color or style.
This way we will have them for the graduates.
We have less than 4 months left before graduation.
All of the girls seem to be doing great, and I'm expecting them all to pass.
This is a great bunch and we seem to be getting those that are willing to learn.
I hope someday one of them will be moving on from the village to the city,
with big opportunities to further their skill in sewing,
all to glorify God.
We have tried our best to teach them each day about Him,
and we hope that they will grow in their relationship with God.
He has blessed us,
we want to be a blessing to them.
