Moving Day for the Sewing School

We drove right past the regular road to the school
Rode on the moto to the new place and not to sure we will get in with the truck.
Peter drove to the previous school building, I noticed the same mountain we see from our yard in Nyagatare.
Driving into the yard to get the first load.
and we are loaded.
The two brave students that came with us on the first load.
And the driveway is cleared
Working at getting the door to open. The fellow is husband to one of our first students Pelagie. Jean Claude has been asking us for a guarding job every time we visited the new site. So today we hired him to guard - he is a happy man!!!
No ceiling in the classroom and no power yet either.
Second load
Waiting for the third load and washing powder, the rooms need cleaning before we put in the furniture.
Third load
The floor is fixed and another outlet in the wall was installed.
Afternoon class waiting for the last load, the biggest one - no picture. We are getting tired.
The fellow on the back is the landlord, known as the Doc in Ryabega. Later I heard that he will pay his workers with food if he can't pay in money and then will let his workers go early so that they can cook the food he gives them for their supper.  Today he brought us a large bag of small bananas for us to share with the class today!!!
They are still working on the building and the grounds, and will be for a few more days/week.
Moved the machines and furniture in.
Washing the doors and windows.
Washing the toilet.
Cleaning out front
Closing the PM Class in prayer in the new classroom!!!
It is so exciting to be in our new building.
Praising God that all went well.
We are very tired, Peter especially as he was involved in loading and unloading the truck.
Nice to have running water and a large bathtub to soak our weary bodies in!!!
(I know you really wanted to know that)
Makes us realize how human we are,
and the power of God in our lives,
how He carries us and gives us the strength we need
for each hour, each day, each week, each month.
This is going to be a long month for us
but we are looking to God for strength for each day.
