Since New Years

Since New Years there been a lot happening. Some good, some bad. The worst was losing a dearly loved family member, Peter's nephew, Damian. We are so sorry for his family. This lose is so great, as he was young and it was very unexpected. I'm am so sorry that we were not able to be with his family, to be at the 'celebration of his life'. Thankfully for the internet we were able to share in the grief.
Damian, you will truly be missed.

On the 6th we were able to attend a YWAM Conference near Kigali. A one day event.
That weekend when we were in Kigali we were able to purchase some items for our home.
Thanks to some great supporters or this wouldn't have happened. Alphonsine used the stove for the first time this morning (we used it before on the weekend) and did a great job with breakfast!
We were able to purchase a 4 burner propane cooker with glass surface (very nice), new pots with lids, (the other ones we used on the coals had their bottoms all rounded), and a table to put them on, a pantry shelf which was very needed, and Peter's little toy - a grass whipper!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH - WE REALLY LOVE ALL THE ITEMS, SO NEEDED!!!!

We were very busy with sewing and have produced a lot of things. The class is working on pants and shirts.

Box Bag
Production Dec. 23 - Jan. 3 (4 work days)
Jan. 6-10.
Production is working on bags. The box bags are the tough ones. They have to be quilted, then sewn together. Lots of layers, lots of broken needles and lots of patience!!! They all wanted to do them and so the first bag they made they were able to keep. But after three or so ...... well it wasn't any fun anymore when the machine just wouldn't sew proper - skipping stitches - so we are working on that one and will hopefully come up with a solution!!!

Lots of things have happened, but God is still good. We are thankful for supporters, for family and friends.
