to make an outfit for "a naked" dolly!
One happy granddaughter!!!!

Another of the same:
one naked doll -

And one happy baby with
a matching hat like Daddy's!!!

Pictures!

We have been walking in the park
and saw a fox.
Sorry it's so far away
but I had the small camera with me.

The tree just had character!

God Blessed us!

I still can't believe how much God blessed us on our trip!

We are so thankful for those who supported us financially,
and more so for your prayers!

May you be blessed by God for your faithfulness!

We saw God in having the funds to go,
We saw God in not losing any luggage,
We saw God in keeping us healthy,
We saw God in safety, the whole time,
We saw God in placing us in the village we were in,
We saw God in our leaders,
We saw God in our translators,
We saw God in the country of Rwanda,
We saw God in the faces of the people, AND
We saw God work in their lives!

We felt so blessed the whole time we were over there, we knew that was exactly where God wanted us. What a feeling to be in His will!

I remember being so deathly afraid the first Sunday that we were there. We had been there for 5 days already and had helped with some training, but the Sunday was most unsettling for me. I was very afraid that morning and had people pray for me. (Thank you!)
We traveled to the Mother church, (the trip was very short) and they were already singing. We met with the pastor (all with the help of translators) and then we proceeded through the side door of the church right up to the stage and sat down. We then had the most wonderful time listening to 4 choirs - the children's choir, the youth choir, and two adult choirs! Wow, they sure can sing! They each sang two songs or more, and it was more than I had anticipated! By the time they were done, my jitters were too! Praise God! I was able to share that God had called me to be a missionary when I was about 13 years old, but thought for sure that He would never take me to Africa because of my fair skin! But in the last 2 years He has placed a big burden on me to go!
I was there because He had called me to go!
What better place to be than in His will!
It was so wonderful to be there and doing what He wanted me to do, it's hard not to want to be back there. And you can bet that I'm leaving it WIDE OPEN for Him to call me back. My ears and eyes are open to hear even the smallest whisper from Him!
On Monday, we visited a home where there were two young women sitting outside in the shade. We asked if we could share and help them pod their peas and beans. They were surprised that we knew how. The one lady was nursing her baby, and we just shared with them why we were there. We had the privilege of leading them both in prayer to receive Christ as their Savior. We gave them literature to read and invited them to the meetings we were having all week near their home. We then asked them if they had any requests that we could pray for. The one lady asked us to pray for her - she had no children and she wanted a child. We prayed for her, and I really believe that God will answer her request. That was the same day that our grandson was born and I really believe that God will answer that prayer. But more so, that she will grow in her faith in God because she will see Him answer her prayer!

A New Grandson!

We were very happy to be able to see our newest addition to the family through ooVoo! We are excited to be going down to see him and his family this month! Can hardly wait!
(I know - not very good pictures but that's all I have! I'm sure if I had asked I would have gotten some, right guys! It's my fault!)

Frost - Rain

Well, we just got back from our trip and one of the first remarks that I heard was: "This is the first sunny day we have had since you left!" (or something like that) So I got to thinking that this "OLD WIVES TALE" about having rain 90 days after a good HORROR FROST just may be true!!!! I've heard from more than one of you that you have had a lot of rain in Saskatchewan in the last week or so! Feel free to leave your comments! Loved to hear about it!

It's good to be home, but it's dry here (isn't that contradictory). I woke up with a dry nose compared to being in Rwanda! Oh I miss that place, people, and fellowship, but mostly service!

Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere.
